We believe a supplier has an opportunity to invest into the future of the Live Steam hobby. We are making some of our tools and charts available for every Model Engineer to download and use, in the hope that the Hobby will continue to grow and succeed. It is not easy to scour the internet or old manuals looking for the right data, and we sympathise with those who are toughing it out in isolation.
We want you to bookmark this page in your web browser as we keep this page up-to-date with the latest charts and references. Get them on your iPad or phone or PC. Print them off, or use them direct off our web page so you always have the latest.
We hope you will enjoy our version of "The Model Engineer's Toolkit" - a selection of workshop printables for your reference.

We welcome fresh content. Our dream is that we can collaborate and make an accessible Live Steam archive for the long term good (and growth) of our fascinating hobby. This page gets accessed from all around the world, and hundreds of downloads. Once the content goes out, it's in the hand of many model engineers all around the world, at no charge. Just for the long term good of helping others and continuing our traditions and inspiring the next generation with a head start.
Have you written any helpful how-to articles for steam loco modellers? Maybe you want to tell people how you machined your cylinders so they can get a helpful printoff. Have you done a drawing? Maybe you have made some time-saver charts like we have. Doesn't matter how simple your content is, simple can be very effective.
1) Include your name (or Anonymous)
2) Date it.
3) Put a revision on it...e.g.."Guest name -machining cylinders v1.0".
4) Put a disclaimer on your article or style it like "This is how I machined my cylinders" so it leaves it up to the individual how they adapt the information but it inspires them to think for themselves.
5) In your document, encourage people to share your content if it has helped them.
6) If you have intention of putting your contact details that is fine.
You own and edit your content, if you want to change it send the revised version to us for re-uploading. That is the intention of putting a revision on it so people can see there has been a change.
If you would like to be part of what we intend to do with the Modellers Hub, we welcome your submissions for review into our Guest Uploads section. Send us an email to tell us about your content. Thank you.
